The Careers Fair will take place on 13 May at Troykata Square in Burgas. We expect it to become a true platform for students to explore future opportunities. Organised by the Regional Department of Education – Burgas, with the support of the career counsellors from the Centre for Personal Development Support and Burgas Municipality, the fair will present a wide range of career paths through presentations, exhibitions and demonstrations.
The Vocational High School of Computer Programming and Innovation has an approved admission plan for the next academic year for the following programmes:
“Artificial Intelligence Programming” with intensive English language studies, code 4810401 – 1 class of 26 students;
“Robot Programming” with intensive English language studies, code 4810501 – 1 class of 26 students;
“Applied Programming” with intensive English language studies, code 4810301 – 1 class of 26 students;
“Applied Programming” – dual education, with intensive English language studies, code 4810301 – 1 class of 26 students.
Students will study English intensively and German as a second foreign language. The school also provides opportunities to sit internationally recognised certification exams under the Cambridge and Goethe-Institut programmes.
The school’s technology curriculum includes training in both core and advanced programming languages, including C#, Java, JavaScript and Python, as well as a variety of career development pathways in the technology sector, such as web design, graphic design and project management.
Students take part in a series of projects designed to develop their knowledge and practical skills. The school has established Certiport and Pearson VUE examination centres, where students can sit professional certification exams.
The “Applied Programming” dual education class will be a pilot programme for the school. Its curriculum will not differ significantly from that of the same specialisation in the standard full-time form of education. However, in Grades 11 and 12, the specialised subjects will be taught by professionals from partner companies in the school’s new technology laboratories.
We expect strong interest from parents and students, who will have the opportunity to actively discuss the different options for education and the future career development of seventh-grade students.
Good luck, seventh graders — choose wisely and follow your hearts!
